🌿 This morning, I rolled out my yoga mat in our back garden—a place that’s usually peaceful and quiet.
I knew there was some building work happening across the road, and that was easy enough to tune out. What I hadn’t anticipated was the sound of a strimmer starting up just behind our fence, followed by the soundtrack of the recycling lorry making its way all around our home—glass clattering, machinery compressing, and plenty of banging along the way!
I could have gone back inside. That would have been the easy choice. Instead, I chose to stay.
Rather than resisting the noise or letting frustration take over, I treated it as part of my practice. Each distraction became an invitation to return to my breath, my body, and the present moment.
It reminded me how valuable these moments are. We live in a world that seems to get louder and busier every day—a world that constantly pulls our attention away from ourselves. Learning to find calm within the chaos isn’t about waiting for perfect conditions; it’s about cultivating peace wherever we are.
In a strange and beautiful way, this experience brought me back to why I do what I do: to heal, to grow, and to fill my own cup so that I can share what I’ve learned with others.
This is the heart of The Soul Path.
Over the past few months, I’ve been quietly working behind the scenes, and I’m excited that we’re almost ready to share what’s next.
✨ From the end of September onwards, I’ll be introducing Happy Meals for the Soul and Ananda Yoga drop-in sessions—gentle opportunities to pause, reconnect, and learn simple practices that support your wellbeing.
If this sounds like something you’d enjoy, keep an eye on our website over the coming weeks—we’ll be sharing all the details soon. You can also join us on Facebook or sign up for our newsletter to receive regular updates and soulful inspiration 💙✨
