Today is the last Holy Night ✨ it’s time to bow in gratitude for all the gifts and learning brought by the year just gone, and to step into the new year with mindful determination and much love for all that is yet to come.
Holy Nights – the time between the old and the new year
The period between the Winter Solstice (for the northern hemisphere) and the 6th of January has been named and celebrated by different traditions in many different ways, but all share the same core idea – this is a sacred, liminal space between old and new. I like to call them the Holy Nights, as this reflects their essence well. It is a time for silence and introspection to create a quiet space where the divine in us can plant its seeds deeply so that we may manifest them in the world in the new season ahead.
This is what the labyrinth covered in snow showed me this morning – I might not see the full picture yet, but I trust the process, one step after another, paying attention to the faint traces I can sometimes only guess. I trust there is a pattern sustaining Life, and that everything will emerge at the right time. I pause in the centre of the labyrinth to rest and receive my gifts of calmness and inspiration – ready to carry them into the world ✨
Let the new year begin!! And if you want to know more about who we are and what we do, you can follow us on Facebook or subscribe to our newsletter.
Looking forward to meeting you 💙
