As we celebrate the return of the Light, let’s meditate on these words by Paramahansa Yogananda.
“It seems there is always plenty of money for war, which brings in its wake great sufferings. We don’t seem to learn from these. If we can raise money for wholesale killings, couldn’t we picture the possibility that if all big leaders and all people got together, they could collect a vast fund that would banish poverty and ignorance from the face of the globe? […] Let us work for peace on earth as never before“.
